Why can I not view any YouTube postings. None show up in red. I'm on an iPad.

YouTube requires that your browser has the Adobe Flash Player plug-in (or an equivalent piece of software) installed. iPads are made by Apple who, shall we say, don't exactly see eye to eye with Adobe. Hence Adobe doesn't support a Flash Player plug-in for Apple's native browser on the iPad. (It works the other way round too. The late Steve Jobs, head of Apple, detested Adobe's Flash Player, declaring it to be be resource hungry and an unnecessary drain on the batteries in Apple devices).

The solution is to use a different browser:
