My sister is tortured with a mentally handicapped (not so handicapped) girl - who texts 5-6 times a day. My sister has learned to cope with it - but anyway her and I don't text at all but above handicapped girl types like

Not quite sure what it is you are asking Connemmara, but ask your daughter to block her number on her phone, Then any attempt from this girls phone will come to nothing.

Just delete them if you can't block the sender and tell your sister to try not to get too stressed about it.

If your sister has learned to cope than it doesn't really matter if the texts don't make much sense - well to my mind it doesn't.

The example you've given doesn't make much sense, or at least the second bit doesn't But if they aren't the exact words used there really is now way we an help you decipher the text.

Why would the girls parents be upset if your sister blocked the daughters number, how would they know? Also, your sister isn't obliged to open them if they cause her distress.

I don't know what you mean "what does it mean" - the girl's just using text to make contact with your sister. Not sure also why your sister is "tortured" with it, if she's learned to cope with it, and just ignores it now. If she doesn't respond, the girl wouldn't be any the wiser if she blocked her number.

Maybe this girl is just reaching out, the world can be a lonely place for the mentally disabled, it might be torture for your sister but maybe this sort of basic socialising means a lot to this girl, block her if its too much of a horrific experience.
