You can Record Programmes from your "Planner" without any problems,have done it for years.

Yes,I have a Toshiba DVD Recorder which takes DVD-R,DVD+R and DVD+RW.I have got plenty stuff on DVD Disks recorded from my Planner. Use the Input on your TV and select either HDMI 2 or Ext.
