Windows XP Error Message

Hi does anyone know how to get rid of the following error message and prevent it from coming up each time I log on ? I think its from when I plugged in my digicam to the USB and tried to install the software but i could be wrong...cheers

inner box "Run Time Error 53 File Not Found

Start-run-msconfig-startup, and uncheck the "hdreg" box click apply and when you restart you'll find out if it worked

Pretty sure that'll do the trick..hope so
