A program to monitor internet connection speed

is there a program that will tell me what my internet connection is woring at ? I use my mobile phone as a modem and officially it is connected at 115 Kbps but this is only formally as it will reach (according to my download manager) the 484 Kbps that it should but of course windows task manager is just telling me the percentage of 115 Kbps used and if it gets more than that it just reajusts (still calling it 115 Kbps) so I am none the wiser as to my actual speed.

hm interesteing but not quite what i wanted. this runs a test whereas i want to know what the speed is of my current connection and i would like to see it as a graph if possible so that I can check on how it is doing over time

these are not monitoring programs but online benchmarks. what I need is an ap that will show me a grapg of how my connection is performing
