How are all you bearing up in the wake of all this bad weather. I hope you don't have too much storm damage. I only venture out when I have to!

It is hideous today, I honestly cannot believe how quickly the weather is changing; high winds, torrential rain, glorious sunshine and blue sky, hail storms. I need to go out later I bet the weather is saving itself for a spectacular event then!

Probably Eccles. It's called sods law:-)

Just had a very short sharp hailstorm (N/Kent) glad I wasn't caught in that!
Hailstorm here in South London as well earlier. Sun is in and out of the clouds now.

We've got brill. sunshine back again now! ???

Weird here, if I look out in my back garden it's a blue-cloudless sky, yet look out the front lots of scuttling white clouds. Very noisy strong wind, but no rain at the moment.
Sunny here at the moment, however, the whole sky looks very dark over towards the sea.
It's really windy here, but sunny. I need to find my motivation to get to the shops before the rain moves in.
I'm the same as Eccles, we've had it all this morning. Unfortunately next door's eucalyptus is still standing.
Flooding in parts of Coggeshall Essex, worst of the weather expected late afternoon - fingers crossed.
Grim here - nice morning at times, then huge thundery squalls coming through, lots of hail on them, very strong winds etc....it's pretty miserable out there, so fire lit and on with the rugby.....
For the past few months, I have been going to replace a wobbly gatepost and remount my satellite dish on a more robust mast. I've been putting it off because of the rain. On Wednesday night, the gales did the first part of both jobs for me.
Question Author
Is that your job, Jim to remount satellite dish? I suppose Sky would charge you a fortune to fix it! I'd go mad if I didn't have my telly.
It has changed so quickly here today. Sun and blue sky and then really heavy rain. Very cold and winds are picking up again. The poor people who are flooded are at high risk again of even more flooding. Cattle have been saved and taken to dry land. My daughter did a clothes , food and blankets collection this morning and has taken it to a center where they are going to share them out to the families that are flooded.
