Internet Explorer Problem

I am no longer able to get Internet Explorer to load properly
it opens briefly with a blank page and then just stops and closes again
I downloaded Explorer 11 to make sure I had the latest version but it has made no difference
I am using Windows 7
has anyone else had this problem

Try starting Internet explorer in safe mode without any add-ons:

I had already disabled add- ons before it all went wrong

Are you definitely connected to the Internet?

yes flobadob otherwise I would not be on here

thank you redman I have read all of that so I might uninstall and try another new download

Uninstall IE11 from your Windows updates and reinstall it again it should be ok then ,as sometimes it gets corrupted as an update .You can download it from the Microsoft website
