is it true gas is so expensive now as shell/bp have invested in Siberian gas fields,also has our reserve in the north sea nearly gone

Shell and BP invest in any reserves anywhere in the world - You'll recall the BP leak off of the US for example

Estimates for reserves in the North Sea vary a lot but 'nearly gone' is overstating it - probably something over half depleated is closer the mark
