Thanks all- at the easier end this week I thought but still good fun.

I worked out Vanessa as per the clue but didn't know novel.

Also mouse I assumed was worked out as per the blog but thought it clunked a bit and I wondered whether I was missing something.

Didn't know apage but it could only be apenage with all the crossing letters.
