Haemorrhagic Gastro-Enteritis In Dogs
2 Answers
This is a reasonably interesting story about a dog poisoned by eating plants.
It seems to be a dangerous world for our furry friends.

You do have to be quite careful about using things that make plants attractive to dogs. For instance I can't use the organic seaweed fertilisers on my garden because to the dogs they smell delicious.
I would also suggest that its a bit of a stretch to say "must have eaten a plant" There are other things in a garden that can cause that particular upset, including cross infection from other mamamals.
