Ipad Connection To Server Failed

Sorry another ipad question. I updated my ipad, went thru all the motions. Now when I open email it says Connection to Server Failed although seems to work OK. How do I get rid of this window ? Also can anyone help with my last question re ipad and bt please ? Thanks all

make sure time and date is set correct, then see if you connect to server.

How do I do that ? It is putting my emails in outbox and not sending them. I have changed my password - see last question - but have changed that in settings, help !!

OK just changed password on Yahoo account and all seems to work now, fingers crossed x
