No. Why would they be?
I think they may be obliged to provide wheelchair access.
If it came down to a claim Kath, wheelchairs are not suited for each person, the persons I cared for, had their own wheelchair specifically made for them & other disabled users could not use them. in other words " Insurance"
I think wheelchair access only. Many do provide wheelchairs, but i doubt they're obliged to.
They have to provide disabled access but not wheel chairs.

Thanks. I normally take my own but I had Grandchildren in the car and there wasn't room. Just wondered if it was compulsory that's all. Calm down cheeky, I was only asking!
No I dont think so
I suppose that's why you don't see wheelchairs in rows, with the trolleys, outside your local Tesco !
Tesco do provide wheelchairs - at least they do at our nearest one.
next the cigarette butts and wino who also arent free !
They lock them in a store, Fred. You have to ask them.
I'm perfectly calm, just wondering why you would think that they were obliged.
me too ... i am amazed anyone would think it might be compulsory
They are offered as a courtesy nothing more.
