Caspar Has To Have Surgery .....

He's been off his food for a few days,looking quite down....and dribbling. He seemed to perk up yesterday,but I came home a while ago and the poor boy looked dreadful. Just been to the vets...he's got some troublesome teeth,and they are coming out tomorrow morning. So its back to the vets first thing.
I was worried sick,as the last time I had a cat with similar symptoms it was oral cancer. I won't feel right until my noisey boy is back.

Hi Pasta - fear not, exactly the same thing happened with two of our cats, and they had teeth out - and before the day was out, they were back eating normally again. It's horrid how they can't tell us what's troubling them, and toothache to them doesn't seem half the trauma it is to us!

I blame myself,as he'd been off dry food for a while,and occasionally looked as if chewing was a problem. But no other symptoms. Right now he's a mess....he's dribbled all over his nice thick ruff...and he won't let me clean it off.

What is it with AB dogs this weekend, there'e been a few poorly ones.

Sally is the dog, Caspar is the white, deaf cat and I am not sure what the new lady cat is called.

He might be a bit vocal after the operation - but you will be used to that pasta.

Of does get confusing...but I think we pet owners read between the lines and figure it out.
Thanks for all the good wishes...now I need to get through tomorrow. I miss all the noise here. (Who said that?....)
Meanwhile...little cat-Amber- is settling in. She's not gotten downstairs yet,but she's head butted Sally...so we know she and the dognwill get on. Phew!!

Pasta, he's only a young cat and will be fine. However should the vet "accidentally" damage his vocal cords think how much you will miss his incessant howling. Not!

Frankie will need some scale and polish at some point. Merlin eats dried food and she has lovely teeth, this is good as the have been imbedded in my hand a few times. :-)

Oh gosh another one on the sick list, it's a busy time in the 'worrying' dept.

How old is Caspar now, pasta ? I think I remember you getting him, wasn't long after I lost my great big puff ball.

Hope all goes well at the vets and he's back to his old self very quickly.
