Does no one think Little Britain should be up there? I mean, have you seen the 2nd series? So many of the sketches have just gone beyond funny and border slightly on racist, ageist, homophobic, you name it - there's a sketch with a woman who gets sick by pretty much everything and everyone and its just not on. I dont want to rant or anything! Little Britain is aimed at my age group and at times is quite funny but still - PC this show aint. *laughs* Jess :-)

the mighty boosh !!!

Bo Selecta vol.3 was very un-PC. The first two series were a bit obscene, but after that it just relied on sex jokes every 5 seconds that were either unfunny or just plain crude.
I love The Sweeney, but I think most people now would baulk at some of the things Jack Regan has to say. I would say that while I find Alf Garnet really, really funny, it is something that would cause uproar if they showed now in its original state, probably accounts for why you don't see it anymore, even on UK Gold. You've got to remember though, in the 70's and the 80's people wern't afraid to laugh at jokes of a 'ist' nature because it hadn't been turned into a taboo and made anti social by all the woolies. You've also got to remember that in this age of nasty comedy, ie laughing at people getting hurt, or their misfortune, is all that seems to be deemed acceptable, before this, people were less aggressive and would laugh and be entertained by harmless jokes, I find, since 2000, people have became very hard and aggressive. I ask you, why do people find someone being gored by a bull so absolutely hilarious?? I actually find modern TV less 'PC' than the older stuff.

Another strong contender must be On The Buses. Two dirty, creepy old man in their late fifties conspiring to rub up against very young women they've only just met. And the scrip conveniently, implausibly, has these youngsters grinning with inane delight at men old enough to be their grandfathers fighting over who get's "in" first. And Olive, poor Olive whose only "crime" in life is to not closely resemble Marilyn Monroe. There was nothing wrong with her in her swimming suit, but still the greying old pervs were given lines such as "Urrgh, look at the state of it."

A show of wishful thinking made for dirty old men.

Olive "you stupid great lump"!!

Then there was Paddy-**** in "Curry and Chips", and Sambo the Nig-Nog in "Love Thy Neighbour" and, of course, all the Nancy Boys in "It Ain't Half Hot, Mum".

Non-PC humour? Well it's ruddy funny in my book. Put me down for a ticket for the next Bernard Manning concert.

The Weakest Link - Anne Robinson constantly offending people regarding their attire, lack of hair, looks. Only last night she was taking the mick out of the fact that one of the contestants was bald, the word 'egg head' was used. Funnily enough the only time she's been in trouble in the quiz shows long history was when she offended the Welsh.

To light the blue touch paper, then I guess the MOBOs are racist in the very definition of racism. Its not like black music is heavily unrepresented on the tv/radio.
