visa for Egypt

My son is travelling to Egypt with rugby club, but parents are not, we've been told that he can obtain visa at airport, he has a no objection letter from parent to travell, but does he need to take parent passport as well to get his visit visa.

anyone travelling around europe does need a visa. Most people just queue and buy them at the airport. cost �12 or $15. This just allows him to travel out of the tourist areas - you dont mention where he is actually going though. Will find most people doing this on arrival. Quite busy but will be directed. Only needs his own passport..

sorry I said travelling around Europe when I actually meant Egypt. Also as In a Pickle mentioned do need to have at least 6 months left on current passport.
