I Don't Like Direct Debits.....

I have found they take what they want when they want without informing you that they have increased your payment. So the only DD I have is with Sky, they don't inform you either but they said it's the only way they except payment.

So this month I have ....
Car Tax
TV Licence
and today a letter from the tax man to say last year I underpaid and they want it by Feb 28. They gave 3 reasons why the couldn't reduce my tax code, so pay up or.......


On top of that I had a blazing row with the district nurse.

Report, jeza - it's not her place to be so inappropriate, or to pass judgement on what has been agreed for Mic and you by the relevant healthcare authorities.

Not into reporting anyone for anything boxy. Live and let live is my thing. Even on AB. There are more suptle ways of extractinf revenge.

Yes DD is IMO a foolish idea. You pass control of your wealth to an institution on the promise all will be well. There was nothing wrong with SOs. Not you are penalised or forced to have DD, which isn't right.

I found a good way to deal wityh Sky - I cancelled.

Most programmes worth watching are on the free channels, and you continue to get them via your Sky box just as before.

However if you are on Sky+ you would lose the extra benefits.
