Apparently the cover of the album was inspired by the cover of another album (by someone else, obviously). Any ideas?

The music was inspired by Louis Jordan and Cab Calloway - so you might try them, but they were artists from a period before much design went into album covers, weren't they?

Thanks for that - I'll check them out. The Jumpin' Jive sleeve itself has the look of a young Frank Sinatra, but I've yet to find a suitable sleeve that might have inspired him.
