Winter Games Day 9 - Sat 15Th

** Its an early start in the morning with the Women's Super G off at 7am our time. Catch it before work if you're going, or breakfast in bed if not. Either way be there to cheer for Chemmy team GB, friend and neighbour to JJ!

** Curling continues and we wish both teams another great day. Go team GB!

** Elise Christie is back on the ice in the afternoon for the 1500 speed skating. How we'd love her to win a medal after her fall in the 500m. She is joined in this event by team mate Charlotte Gilmartin.

** and thrills upon thrills is the men's skeleton in the evening. Bromley and Parsons, two GB men, are lying joint eighth and joint tenth. Gooooo Team GB!

Poor Elise Christie. Disqualified again. What did she do wrong?

Apparently, she didn't cross the finishing line properly, even though she was comfortably in a qualifying position. Poor girl. Surely things must work out for her in the 1000 m.

I'm struggling to get over it, how must she feel? I'd want to go home now, but if she can put this behind her and do something in the 1,000 i'll be really, really proud of her.

Very close for the GB men in the curling and still a good position on the table.
