Some people claim that the wetlands occupied by the Marsh Arabs in southern Iraq are the site of the Garden of Eden. However, the Bible itself - in Genesis chapter 2 verses 8 - 14 - says: "A river went out of Eden to water the garden and from thence it was parted and became into four heads. The name of the first is Pison...and the name of the second is Gihon...and the name of the third is Hiddekel...and the fourth is Euphrates."
This apparently describes, quite accurately, the valley in Armenia where the town of Tabriz lies. Four rivers do rise there and the land of Cush lies to the north and the land of Nod to the east...also as described in the Bible.
Perhaps it's there, but I wouldn't count on ever being able to pinpoint it to everyone's satisfaction.
