If I was in your shoes, I would go with your O/H and counsel with the AAs, the CAB or even the police as to the best action - they do have experience. Maybe a shock, such as an arrest on verbal or physical abuse, is needed to pull him back onto the tracks. I have many times told my family and friends how im feeling but somehow im made out to be the unreasonable one if I dare to let off steam so ive stopped talking about what bothers me. It also seems lately if you're not part of a couple you're not included in anything, or treated like a spare part...who do you let off steam to without a partner and who do you tell about your day when you get home? :(
Don't let them put you down and make you feel like you are being unreasonable. Just hold your head high and tell yourself I deserve better and I am not going to let you put me down. They will never admit they are wrong and next time your friend calls do as I explained and when you call her back say sometimes I need you to listen to my problems I will always be here for you but it has to work both ways. Don't beat yourself up over this start to enjoy your own company and don't let others put you down. Good luck.
