Rummaging in the attic yesterday I came across an old IV/UV heat sun lamp in perfect condition,I understand the UV element as i used it many years ago for tanning and of which I have no further interest,
However what are the benefits if any of using the IV heat element on sprains or pulled muscels.

do you mean infra red (ir) not iv? if so then no more benefit that a hot water bottle or an ice pack
