Xp Internet Explorer

My laptops internet explorer has disappeared. Laptop will not connect to web, I've even tried a dongle which works for a while then stops
What is missing please help

Have you got another pc / laptop in which you can download firefox or another browser and then install it onto the laptop?

you dont have to replace the computer just the operating system and some even say xp will still be ok to use for the home user if you have the appropriate virus and malware progs on
theres a lot of scaremongering about this xp being unusable after "that date"

not if you have the free protection on your comp, there's plenty around,there is of course a minor risk but scan daily you'd should be ok
