Come on lets pick ourselves up for the last couple of days action at the games.

JJ's probably of the opinion that if she can't beat them she'll join them on the slopes, have a good weekend sweetpea. If not forgive me, i'm just determined we'll see this thread to the end!

So....settle down for some great events on the last full day. I'm looking forward to one more snowboarding event in the morning. Girls and boys parallel slalom.

Then we have team GB dave rydling to cheer for in the men's slalom and GB1 and GB2 in the four man bob.

Four man bob is amaaaazing... See you all back on here later.

Thank you Excelsior you are kind, but the Winter Games Gold medal goes to Jogger Jayne for the daily threads rather than me.

I have sat in goal a few times and even popped my skates on once or twice but this is her event and a well deserved win. I award her the flowers and the medal with the hole in it ----- wave the flag of Team AB.

David Bowie will be along shortly to collect it on her behalf no doubt.

Thanks, maydup. I had a bit of a heavy night at our local *** night club. I wasn't on the pull, you understand, just there with a few gal pals. And I'm feeling a bit worse for wear.

I hope, between us, we've managed to keep the Winter Games on the AB radar.

Definitely looking forward to the Slalom, and the Bobsleigh.

And Slalom Snowboard is always fun.

God, I love winter sports.

the one i enjoyed the other day, i had never seen before.....the event where four skiers raced each other all at the same time, down a course with jumps

Ski cross. The great thing about ski cross, is that it's the event that's most like skiing on holiday. Except for the big jumps. You all belt down the slopes in a group, losing one or two on the way as they wipe out. That's usually me!
