Help...i Phone Just Went Off For No Reason

was on my iphone 5 mins ago, it had 3/4 battery life, next thing it just went off. cannot get it on.

what can i do ? thanks

Is it your signal from your service provider, has it gone down? Round here there's a lot of trouble with Vodaphone at the moment.

I don't know what beez means by "off" - I thought he meant he had lost the call.

Beez - try taking out the battery, then putting it back in and rebooting.

Mine did exactly that yesterday. Just couldn't get it to come back on. When i looked carefully, there was a fine crack across the screen. I've no idea how. I ended up buying a new one in the afternoon. They quoted £50 to fix it (which i might still do for daughter), but a new one was £70. I think you'll need to take it to a shop, if removing and replacing the battery doesn't work.

i am getting calls through but screen is blank, cannot answer calls, phone cannot be switched off. i will try what u guys have suggested though how do i remove battery from iphone 4 ?

it is fixed, i looked up youtube vids on how to reboot, i held on/off button along with the home button.
