My bf cut his hand and has bled over my good cotton sheets! I have tried all the usual methods of removing it (soaking in cold water, rubbing salt in, using shampoo etc) but none of these have worked

Would anyone have any other ideas as to how I can get it out? Are there any miracle products out there that I could try (I'm goting to tesco so if there is anything from there I should try it would be good!)

If the sheet is white, try normal bleach.

If it's coloured, I like Ace. You pour some on immediately before washing. Do not let it dry in or you will have more problems.

Thanks
The sheets are white, they are good ones though, egyptian cotton and expensive, would it be ok to use bleach on them without ruining them? They are also new and I don't want to damage them irrepairably and would worry that bleach might be too harsh?
Milk will remove blood .Although you could have set the stain by now if have used hot water trying other methods .Try dabbing the stains with some milk on some cotton wool .If not Ecover Laundry Bleach is very good and chlorine free .

I have only had it in cold water since the stain occurred, except that one of the stains wasn't discovered until 24 hours after it happened, which worries me a bit!
i would wash it on a really hot wash, in the washing machine, using biological powder or liquid. you'll maybe need to put it through a couple of times to get rid of it completely. and spray it with a pre-wash stain remover first, like vanish.
boil them
