how do I scan negatives ?
3 Answers
Can someone tell me how to scan negatives on my new cx5200 printer/scanner/copier.
Do I have to buy a transaprency adaptor. Or is there a special way I can scan them without having to buy a transparency adaptor.
Any advice would be great.
Thank You.

This was the very reason I've just bought the CanoScan3000F because of the negative/slide adapter. Have a good look on your instruction manual for all the features, or look here:

thanks cetti for the information.
I have looked and I can't seem to find anything about negatives so it looks like I am going to have to buy a transparency adaptor.
I must say though.
I am extremely pleased witht his printer/scanner/copier.
I scanned a picture of one of my wedding photo's that I wanted enlarging. The quality is amazing and you would think I had taken it to a photo lab to have it done.
I have framed it and it looks wonderful.I am over the moon.
We have some negatives of our wedding that we didn't choose and I just wanted to print some of those off but it looks like I will have to buy the transparency unit.
Thanks for you help cetti.
