Both pairs of my preferred every day jeans are indicating that they will soon give up the ghost.
I need to buy some new ones and I absolutely hate buying jeans, I honestly cannot think of a more tedious way of spending a day.
Does anyone fancy going shopping for me and bringing a massive pile of jeans to my home for me to try on in comfort and at leisure.......and then taking the rejects back?
I feel your pain, jeans shopping is the work of the devil.
I bought Levis classic fit last time, absolutely lovely and fit like a glove as they do the different 'ladies curve' range. Plus they do long leg, I get 34"
Downside, the pair I got 18 months ago has lost some elasticity on the thigh, and for £85! don't know about the other pair as I only got them at Christmas, time will tell...
I'm glad I'm not the only one who hates jeans shopping Rocky, I have tried the Levi's different shape fits and I must be a really weird shape as none fitted me - they were all too short in the seat and revealed too much of my bum.....not pretty :-(
I can see a miserable day trawling the shops coming up :-(
I hate clothes shopping full stop and only tried for some jeans today, but gave up. But worse than shopping for jeans by a hundred miles, is shopping for bras. How I hate trying them on and finding every make and shape being so different in the fit.
Bras are a doddle for me! I know exactly which brands make my size (not many) and will know instantly which size I need in which cut. Perhaps having a limited choice has its benefits!?!
I'm sure Dorothy Perkins used to do a tall range, not sure if they still do (I'm a shortarse :)). I hate jeans shopping, trying to find a short leg but allowing for "childbearing hips" etc...
I found a really nice comfy pair in BHS in their own make and have gone back there to replace mine a few times now as it takes the horror out of going round all the shops.
