check out www.campleaders.com because they are loads better than camp america!! it's an amazing experience and you can choose where you wanna work and what you wanna do. it's only �299 including flights and you get paid to do it!!!

p.s. if you sign up, and you wouldn't mind, could u possibly put 'birmingham uni' in the "where did you hear about us" box!! its part of a fundraising thing for us at university - thanks - have fun!!!

not sure on web site as did this about 15yrs ago...

I myself would say doing something like this is a good thing but i wouldnt recommend campleaders as my sister recently went with them as part of her uni travel and tourism course and returned home early as it was a complete nightmare as she called it and she is not someone who would give up something so easily....be very careful as with campleaders it will cost you a lot of money and a lot of hidden charges....

I would recommend everyone to try joining summer camps. Just choose what interests you and I am sure you will enjoy it. It is something worth spending summer every year.
