Simple Dvd Ripper?

Hi

I am looking for a simple to use DVD ripper software package so that I can copy my existing DVDs to .avi format so that I can load them to my mobile device (which does not have a DVD reader!).

This is NOT piracy. I bought the DVDs at full price and I only want to make copies so I can view them on the move through my mobile devices.

They are plain DVDs not Blu-Ray and I know nothing about the formats used on commercial DVDs. I do know that if they were converted to .avi files I could use them on my devices, so I am looking for a simple way to achieve this.

Quite an easy process, RS. You will need to decrypt the DVD though.
