Just pricing up an IPOD Nano for my sons birthday - just really asking you all out there what you think of them - I've heard the batteries sometimes lose their charge fast;are they really that good picture and sound quality-wise.Any advice gratefully received. I think for the extra 30 quid or so,I'd be better off getting an extra 500 or so song capacity 4gb version, rather than the 2gb.What do yous reckon ???

I woould advise you buy a case to go with it though they scratch easy. Depending on how much music he has depends on size personally I would buy 4gb but I am in my twenties and own a good 4000 music tracks on my computer alone - so Id need more really but with the 4 gb you would change the track listing a lot less. I would assess the amount of music he has for the size no point buying a 4gb when he cant fill it. But money wise you do get better value for the 4gb, twice the space for 40 quid.
