thanks everbody for last lot of answers. thought i'd cracked it but puzzled by this last one and clue given

small ankle part remains flabby [4] l?n? - think its got to be lank from smalL ANKle but why would you have flabby which is complete opposite of lank. surely clue should have said small ankle part remains thin/ lean etc
Lank is a synonym of flabby so it is correct
It can mean limp drooping or as well..
