Are you referring to the EV, oldboot?
I've solved a few clues, but this is a tough one for me. I don't like carte blanche crosswords.

This was certainly one of the trickier EVs, and is likely to mean little to overseas solvers. The letter count for the fourth of the down clues, whilst in one way accurate, could mislead. I couldn't get anywhere until I had solved both of the long across clues, and then the grid fill could progress.
