Anyone see dispatches this evening? Quite shocking, How can we get the bigotry out of soccer? Why won't the FA/Clubs/Law enforcement deal with this? Any suggestions for how this can be cleaned up?
Would you not say that 'knuckle-draggers' is a perfectly good description for people who shout out racist and homophobic chants?
Should we call them, 'lads having a laugh'?
If they started shouting abuse at your wife or girlfriend as you walked past a pub near the grounds would you laugh and roll your eyes, because it's just funny banter?
"I wasn't referring to those, I was merely pointing out that racial groups and gays etc should not have the sole right of being protected from taunts and insults."
Once again - this is not true.
I don't understand why you think it is.
These are the protected groups under the Equalities Act 2010:
- Age
- Disability
- Gender reassignment
- Marriage and civil partnership
- Race
- Religion or belief
- Sex
- Sexual orientation
