thanks jan, only managed to work it out 'cause you explained it last week!

by the way, yes, thank goodness they decided not to put that horrible puzzle in this week! (thats life) lets hope we have a winner of them soon! cheers.

hi just read your reply to melbur about real people congratulations on your win! It makes it worthwhile entering when you have a win no matter how big or small, guess that will buy lots of envelopes and stamps.

well done again jan

well, it will help towards the stamps! i get envelopes dirt cheap on our local market, but the price of stamps are going up again, good job we do win now and then!

hi everyone. hope you dont mind me butting in . i re-use envelopes. most have a window on the front and plain on the back. i just scribble across the post mark and write the address on the back (now the front) ,for postcards. if you go to the cinema they have in the foyer a stand with postcards advertising films. i just take a few (hundred). or i use empty cereal boxes cut to postcard size. or if you order clothes from a catalogue etc. the card they use for packaging. i cut up and use as postcards. also re-use birthday cards, xmas cards etc.

hi mybutty, i do roughly the same as you for postcards, xmas cards etc, if i want special ones i print them myself (with the help of art explosion & printmaster!) like to try and do the bit for recycling! good idea for the envelopes, just wish we could do something for stamps!
