Just wondered if anyone can throw any light on this please - why excessive yawning, tiredness, falls asleep in chair at times, lethargy and sometimes breathless (on and without exertion) even when sleeps well most times? It has been getting worse for him over last 8 or so months. Late 70's male, late onset diabetes, on insulin, has diabetic kidney disease, neuropathy, mild breathlessness, had triple heart by-pass 13 years ago. All blood results normal, chest x-ray and echo-cardiogram normal. Medication daily including insulin - aspirin - losartin - simvastatin - amlodipine.
Would welcome your thoughts/comments please. Thank you.

As we grow older our eyes let in less light which decreases our awakeness. This can explain why we feel a little livelier in the summer when the light is brighter and the days longer. Buy a new lamp with some strong LED lights and see if it helps at all.
Thanks for your replies. Btw it isn't for me thank goodness. Maydup thanks for your suggestion but it has been going on a long time so seasons don't affect it but can understand what you're saying. PD, he has seen docs and consultants and all things coming back with no results to suggest why, makes me wonder now if medication is taking its toll but not sure which one or combination of all.
Dunnitall....MrG was the same after years of kidney failure and medication. The body must get so tired of all the interference and sleep is the only way to cope.
We had no real front garden.....two little patches around the bays onto the footpath. He was putting in bedding plants, leaned against the house wall and fell asleep.
First I knew was when my neighbour came flying through the door to tell me he thought MrG was lying dead in the garden....☺

Revealed.... Letter from quack and I mean quack... Out of the blue....." Come in for a review on your rheumatoid arthritis...." Eh? Never been diagnosed with this....asked when it first on notes, " oh 2007" plus you have Felty syndrome...eh? Never been told of either yet, all the symptoms for all those years are exactly those of both diseases!! So squad, not age, but pure incompetence of crap doctors who don't give a toss because someone is old and not worth dealing with! Thanks great uk....unless u are an immigrant who has not paid anything into the system and and not worked here ever, you get treated like crap and told there's nothing wrong!
