No Signal On Tv!

I think the wind has caused the tv - free view- to lose its signal.
Anything I can do to get it back or has the aerial blown off?!

I really wouldn't know- its a big house with flats and I think each flat has its own aerial. I don't have a torch and wouldn't know which was ours anyway! Just wondered if it was likely to be the wind and if it might come back on its own?

Alternatively, simply ask a neighbour if they've still got reception.

If the problem has been caused by wind damage (at your end, rather than at the transmitter) it's unlikely to correct itself.

In my area is a grey sign with a builder- saying transmitter cleared fault. What does that mean? I just did an auto retune and now have nothing at all- black screen whereas before it was blue at least, and you could see the channel names.

'Cleared fault' means that the transmitter is now fully operational.

Scarlett, I hope you are OK now - the same thing happened to us, we found that the TV input needed to be reset (with the controller) - it was showing Freeview as the input when it needs to be HDM1

Everytime i turn the player/recorder on my samsung SH855M i have to do an auto set up as it has not stored them. I get a window saying it has found 94 tv channels and 25 radio channels so i press ok, then i get a window saying no channels memorised, chech aerial tv connection. I have all the connections correct. I also have the manual and it says i need to put in a code number in for my tv, so i can use the input select button, but there is not one shown for the technika tv 26.56g. Any help appreciated.
