texan bars/pacers

do you remember these sweets from years gone by.

i had a texan bar the other day and it was horrible.i'm sure they were nice when i was a kid?

I know what you mean. I went into a 'Ye Olde Sweet Shoppe' last week and bought a quarter of cherry lips. They tasted nothing like I remember them tasting 20 years ago!

I used to put my texans in the fridge and chop them up into slices..lovely :) They always seemed bigger in those days..unless it's just my hands growing !

Are you saying they still make texan's?Where from, i aint seen one in years!Pacers sound familiar what were they like?Cant remember.

yes i had a texan bar from our local garage, it was labeled a blast from the past!.

the pacers where like toothpaste!

hi rugeleyboy (is that rugeley as in staffs?) if you look at an earlier question i put fav sweets as a kid you may be surprised at how many people said texan bars, pacers were lovely green and white chews but my favs were spangles remember them?

i went to the garage today to get another texan bar, but yes they no longer do them!

yes its rugeley in staffs, i dont remember spangles, well i remember them but i dont think i ever tasted them!!.

pacers were my favourite by a long shot!
