Do you mean money is tight?
Tenerife is warm at this time of the year.
There are other places but how far do you want to travel?
Got to be the Canary Islands really, unless you go long haul.

Even Dubai isn't too warm in February.
There's nowhere in Europe that will meet your needs. The Canary Islands (which, despite being culturally European, are off the African coast) will be warm [rather than hot] but they can also be very windy.

For real sunshine you either need to be getting a lot closer to the Equator or looking for somewhere in the southern hemisphere. (Perth, Western Australia is fantastic but it won't be cheap!). Possibly the cheapest hot destination would be The Gambia.
It depends how far you want to go. A lot of long haul destinations are good now. If you don`t want to go so far, UAE and Oman is warm.
I think he/she means right now (not tight now as in money is tight) I might be wrong though

Yes, that was a predictive text issue and I meant "right now". I was looking at Tenerife but it's booked out so will have a look at the suggestions here and the link. Is Gambia Africa? Thanks folks.
Yes, Gambia is Africa. I haven`t been there for years but it was OK - I think the tourist trade might have developed a bit since I was there. I was with a female friend and we were hounded by the local lotharios. Apparently that is normal for the Gambia. I also had the famous Banjul Belly for most of the time that I was there.
How about South Africa? Nice and warm at the moment.

Well it was the last time I looked at an atlas!

I would go south (Africa) rather than west (America) as they have summer in the Southern hemisphere.

much of the Americas is struggling with snow or high winds at the moment.

I doubt you would get a cheap last minute deal to South Africa because the flights are always busy so nobody is selling off the (scheduled) seats.

Basically, it just says avoid talking about politics and keep away from any demonstrations (which is generally good advice wherever you go to anyway).
If you want a reasonable, happy go lucky sort of all inclusive, you wouldn`t go too far wrong with the Jebel Ali in Dubai.
I got back from Tenerife a week or so ago. The weather was glorious. We had one day when the sun struggled but it was still very warm.
fuerteventura in the Canaries
