Hi,
i seen a hospital consultant recently who said he would write to my gp to allow me regular access to a particular medication to help with my condition
Normally when i need a script i leave a message with my local chemist and collect the medication from there but this particular medication is somewhat embarrassing to me
my problem is i know the staff at the chemists and confidentiality flies out the window with them i would rather get the medication at a chemist of my choice, is it possible to get the script from my GP and go to whichever chemist i choose?

(that should read, it should be possible to collect from your GP's surgery etc)
If your receptionists are like mine, they'll keep the repeats going to your usual chemist and let you collect a separate one.
Why not complain to the manager at your usual chemist about your concerns regarding the lack of confidentiality. I think that's appalling.
