of course i will sandy. especially ali who i used to work with. he had to leave iran when the ayatollah's arrived. his wife was english. and also to a girl friend who was married to an englishman and lived over here and never managed to see her family again. i met them once, before the troubles, very educated and cultured people. such a shame.

I would like to say happy new year to all the Iraqi friends I made when I was there in 2001. This was at a time when Saddam was in power but still everyone put on there Sunday best and walked around the roads greeting each other and dancing on this special day.
Wonderful , generous people' but I think this is usually true of people who have nothing.
