Had a look at a skip the other day and it was full of the usual rubbish. Passing it today I see somebody has taken a rusted wire mattress support. What could they want it for?

Probably the scrap metal chaps - we get about 4 a week now with their blummin loud hailers.
They noticed it was well 'sprung' and saw an oppurtunity it to line their
' pockets ' ?
I think Barmaid and Bazile could be on the right tracks.

Scrap Merchants quickly spring into action for a few bucks.

Barmaid may agree with me..."They sometimes have a cast iron case" It all depends upon the actual framework of what is involved.

Hans.

Spring has sprung.
Someone has sprung the springs....
Maybe they had second thoughts, Sandy.....I love skips. In fact I spent an interesting evening in one once in London....

And I did rummage through the last skip I had....I now need another to dump the stuff I dumped and rescued... :-(
Was that the skip with the Bishop, Gness?
maybe there was a laptop underneath it and they thought sod it we will take the lot

I have been told the aforesaid mattress is going to be part of the Tate modern exhibition.(apparently you just leave it lying on the floor and then throw Daffodils on it)

To crib lines from shoota its called (Spring has sprung)
