DO eat:
dark-green leafy vegetables, such as watercress and curly kale
iron-fortified cereals
wholegrains, such as brown rice
beans
nuts
meat
apricots
prunes
raisins
DON'T drink, or limit consumption of (because they can inhibit the absorption of iron):
Milk, tea & coffee.
(Also avoid wholegrain cereals for the same reson)
