Spring Is Here

Good morning everybody,I really feel spring is here now.It's warm and sunny and the heathers scattered around the front patio are literally covered in Red Admirals and Bumble Bees.

NW here too, and it's ruddy 'orrible out there. Cold, grey and looks to be an inch away from raining :-(

Yesterday I killed 2 wasps..............today if they appeared the wasps would freeze to death.

Viv, the Scottish weather guy is going to get slapped by a neighbour of mine as he said it was going to be nice all week

Cuddlyone, I've a dandelion which was threatening to appear between the slabs earlier, I think it's now shrivelled back.
The daffs are budding, snowdrops are out, someone has pinched my bluebells, there's no sign of them appearing yet.

Two lots of frogspawn in our pond already (north of England)

It's been lovely here since weekend so i've been gardening everyday. Our daffs have been out for a couple of weeks and the last couple of the 5 blobs of frogspawn is starting to release it's little wrigglers. I have yet to mow the lawn but I might get to that in a bit. Greenhouse is tidied and cleaned and amazingly I found 4 tiny green strawberries on one of the plants that I over wintered in there.
