hi, i have downloaded some music with a .mpc file extension. When opening up the file, all i get is lots of text. Does anybody know of some software to convert this to music, if any exists.

mpc is musepack, similar to mp3 but slightly smaller. you'll need a plug-in for whatever music reader you use, the musepack.org website has one for winamp.
