Fantastic! In my opinion their level of customer service & comfort far exceeded any other airline I have flown with. The staff were very attentive & impeccably professional throughout the entire flight (and there were some very loud, demanding passengers on the plane) and there was so much in-flight entertainment to choose from that I was actually disappointed to reach my final destination!
Also, coming back from the States because of a mistake by airport staff, I arrived at the check-in desk after boarding had closed. When I explained what had happened, the check-in clerk got on her radio immediately, arranged for my luggage to be collected and personally escorted me through to the boarding gates with minutes to go. Even though it was an inconvenience to Virgin caused by someone else, they never raised any objections at all and remained friendly & smiling throughout.
Personally, I wouldn't even look at another airline to fly to America. Enjoy your flight!
Sorry - have to disagree - the cabin crew were all employed for their looks in my opinion - they were rude and spoke to me as if I was an idiot [my TV didn't work] Another point which annoyed me - they did not have any choice of white wine - only Chardonnay - which I hate.
BA is better - Ok you feel like you are being 'precessed' but it is done in an efficient way, AA must have the oldest stewardesses in the air but you get a lot of leg room......Just my 2 cents worth!
