Help, my screen keeps freezing up (only on AB) every fifteen minutes or so.It is driving me to distraction so any suggestions would be welcome. I have Google Chrome & Firefox and it occurs on both servers.

I completely gave up on IE because of just this and switched to Firefox. Can't remember who advised it a year or two ago on here, but I added Adblocker as well. And now I have no problem whatever with this excellent site.

Hi berniecuddles...I guess you are like me and keep somewhat quiet about AB......You know what I mean.
Now to answer what you asked me.....No I have Not tried the Pro version of Malwarebytes because it costs money and not really needed for Home use.
I think those who are more technical than me are of the same opinion. Folk like Buenchico and Methyl and wasn't there a guy called Chuck something or other .

Mr Cuddles, I should add that you have the correct attitude about Google Chrome.

Hi dannyk13.......This is your thread but I hope you don't mind me saying a further few words to berniecuddles.
You were lucky to have a taste of the Pro version of Malwarebytes.
Incidentally, I have a Firefox Add-on which although it doesn't stop me connecting to doubtful sites , it does give an indication of it's trustworthiness. You may already have it. I refer to WOT (Web of Trust) which give you a Green, Amber or Red sign in the Navigation/Add-on Tool bar at the top of the Search Page. Obviously, I also have AB as an Add-on.
