Not sure if this is supposed to be serious or not, but it appears that which ever list of the Seven Wonders you choose, and there are seveal -

I'm not watching it but, if the question were indeed phrased like that, it was very poorly worded indeed. When talking about the pyramids, hanging gardens of Babylon etc, seven wonders of the *ancient* world makes the question unambiguous.

The word "ancient" might well have been used - I had it on in the background so wasn't paying too much attention until the answer was given.

you should watch the Chase, that is a good quiz show, they do come up with some corkers at times though, answers straight out of the Beano.
