Cat Spray From Fur

How can I remove cat spray smell from my cats fur? He's obviously got in a scrap and the other cat must have win and has doused him in that awful smell. Besides bathing him which will cause him no end if stress what can I do to help him remove the smell. He has washed himself a couple if times but it still remains

You can't use a conventional spray on a cat..... can I suggest that you bear with it overnight, and ring your vet in the morning? The smell will cause him as much distress as the bathing - the vet should be able to advise.

He seems very relaxed about it boxwood which surprises me. I've given him a rub over with a soft towel which he enjoys but the smell remains. Will call the bet as you say tomorrow. Puss will be most out out tonight when he can't sleep on the bed!

You can buy medicated wipes for cats Greedy, I think a packet of those would be worth a try.

Thanks guys - will get some in tonight if the local pet shop has them. He is quite ripe!

All sorted the puss managed to sort himself out! Will ask the vet anyway though for future reference
