my award pack arrived today (there weren't any at the session last week)


it includes the emerald lapel badge that i shall be proud to wear -- i have made it my avatar for a while

it also includes a card to fill in as to where and when i would like my 'special presentation',



this is a brief moment of happiness for me during a time of un-easiness, as i have been told i will be made redundant later this year

75th, most impressive.

My late mother wanted to be a blood donor but unfortunately wasn't able due to a previous health issue from her child-hood.

So sorry to hear your news, I hope things improve xx

sorry to hear of your redundancy - I took redundancy 10 years ago and believe me I just don't know how the years have flew in. Thinking of it is more daunting than going through it. You will find plenty of things to do. And may be get a part-time job too.

Thanks for sharing that with us excelsior-1, I used to do it myself but due to my failing health they don't want me anymore!

I have been on the receiving end and have had to have blood transfusions, so I thank you (and all the other generous people) for making it possible x
