Dell Laptop Games

Hi,my friend has a Dell Laptop,about 2 months old. Yesterday,the games on it disappeared (Solitaire etc). He searched all files and folders,and the recycle bin,but they were gone! No-one else was at it either. Any ideas please?

maybe a virus?! either from the internet or anything else connected, could take time to build up and affect the laptop. just an idea?!

Sometimes when adding or deleting windows component you can forget to check the right boxes. I did this by installing some silly game and deleting Wordpad!
Its all there on the Windows DVD. just reinstall them.
